Sarah Timm works full-time as a professional singer at American Music Theatre in Lancaster, PA. Before working at AMT, she appeared as a lead actress at Sight & Sound Theatres for 5 years. She also worked at the Fulton Theatre where she became a member of Actor’s Equity Association. Sarah is a networking leader, performer and music arranger for PRiMA Theatre, a new, non-profit theatre group based in downtown Lancaster. In 2009, Sarah had the opportunity to star in a reality TV show, “The Bank of Mom and Dad,” which was produced by ABC/Disney/BBC. Aside from performing arts, Sarah is a bridal model, print model, special events emcee and has appeared in regional commercials. Sarah graduated Westminster College in 2007 with a degree in Music Education, Vocal Concentration. Sarah is proud to announce the release of her first album, “A Dash of Diva.” The classical-crossover album includes the music of Sarah Brightman, Josh Groban and Charlotte Church and is available through her website. Sarah hopes that the young women competing for Miss Lancaster will make the most of their pageant experience by becoming engaged and involved in their communities. She knows how much pageants have helped to shape the woman she is today! Pageants offer an endless amount of personal growth and opportunity and she can’t wait to help Miss Lancaster County make the most of her journey!
Hannah Timm is from St. Marys, Pennsylvania, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Music from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA. Since graduating, Hannah has been an actress in regional theatres around the country such as Sight and Sound Theatres, Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, and Blue Gate Musicals. An avid dancer, she has choreographed and taught in many settings – including her time as Professor of Dance at Lancaster Bible College. In 2014, Hannah was the recipient of the Non-Finalist Talent Award at Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Pageant, where she held the title of Miss State Capitol 2014. Hannah’s participation in the Girls On The Run organization has inspired her to continue her pursuance of her platform “Take Charge. Be BRAVE… Inspiring, Empowering, and Encouraging Young Women of Today”. She is honored to once again be a part of the Miss America Scholarship Organization as she takes on the role of Co-Executive Director of Miss Lancaster County. Sarah and Hannah can’t wait to meet their first-ever titleholders, and prepare them for the state pageant in June! Currently, Hannah is a lead vocalist/performer on The American Queen Steamboat, where she also is the Assistant Cruise Director. When on land, Hannah tours the country with her husband Matt, in Matt Macis and Hannah Timm – Live! In Concert, performing at various festivals, theatres, and events nationwide. She and Matt and are proud puppy parents to their Pomeranian princess, Vivian. They are so excited to begin their lives together as husband and wife!
